GIVING FAQS

 

Your gift will come to the church through the Presbyterian Foundation’s Online Giving Program (in partnership with Vanco Payment Solutions).
West End Presbyterian Church receives gifts from bank accounts only, not from credit/debit cards.

 

How may I give online to West End Presbyterian Church?
Use any or all of these interrelated options:
1) Click here or click on the Give Now button found in the blue area at the bottom of this page.
2) Use the QR code found on the church’s written materials; read it with your phone’s camera (without clicking) or with a QR reader app, then open the site.
3) Download the free GivePlus+ church app available from your app store.

 

How do I set up a GivePlus+ account
Enter your email address and create a password. Follow further instructions.
Once you set up an account, you will not have to re-enter your information.

 

What fund should I designate to receive my gift?
All regular offerings should be marked for the “General Offering Fund.”
Special gifts for the “Building Restoration Fund” may be marked accordingly.

 

Will I receive a receipt?
Yes, you will receive an “ereceipt” by email. You can also log in to see your giving history online.
If you have questions about the transaction, contact the church office or use the information on your ereceipt.
If you made a mistake, you can ask the church to credit the amount in error back to your account.

 

Is it safe for me to enter my personal bank information?
You can securely store your checking/savings account information to quickly make future donations. Vanco Payment Systems meets or exceeds all industry standards to safeguard your data.
(Your bank routing number has nine digits and your bank account number has twelve; if your bank uses fewer digits for either number, expand it by adding zeroes at the beginning of the number.)

 

Do I have to go online each time I want to make a gift?
You may decide to make a one-time gift online, or you may designate a plan for recurring contributions for which you will not go back online.
If you ask for gifts to be regularly taken from your bank account, please ensure that there is sufficient money in your account each time money will be withdrawn, in order to avoid penalty fees to yourself and the church.
To make changes in a recurring donation plan, simply delete the current information and then set up your new choices.

 

What do I do when I need to make changes in my account?
If you forget your password, you can use the “Forgot Password?” link.
If you can’t remember the email address you were using, ask the church office to make an account lookup or create a new GivePlus+ account.
If you know your password but want to change it, log in with your current password, go to your Account Profile and follow instructions.
If you forget your PIN, log in with your password, go to the Account Profile, then go to Personal Information.
To reset or change your fingerprint setting, go to your device’s settings.
